Global Education – Travel Program

As part of Cornerstone’s commitment to global education, we provide opportunities for our middle school students to travel both domestically and abroad. Trips are chaperoned by one or more Cornerstone teachers and connects middle school curriculum to the locations visited.

Past trips have included:

  • Japan (Kyoto and Tokyo) in 2009

  • Washington, DC and New York City in 2009

  • Europe (London, Paris, Rome, Florence) in 2010

  • Costa Rica in 2014

  • Florida in 2016

  • Iceland in 2017

The cost of the trips is variable depending on the length of the trip and the itinerary, but tends to range around $2,000 per student. Students can raise funds to help offset the cost of the trip.
