Hi,
enrolled in a high school Dual Enrollment course in which college credits are given. It is taught by a junior college teacher at the high school. The cost is $218.00. Is that expense a qualified 529 expense even though he is not yet in college ?
Please help.
Thanks!
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.

I general I would agree prep programs don't count for 529 use ---but if the summer program is being run by a college itself (a qualified institution under the DOE list) and billed thru the college not merely some group which rents the college buildings it might bear a more careful review.
