Homework
The development of good study and work habits is an important goal in elementary school. As such, teachers will assign homework daily and students are expected to spend 30-40 minutes per day on their assignments.
Homework will include drill and practice of fundamentals, book reports, compositions, special research, and reading. Assigned homework relates to current areas of study to re-enforce classroom instruction. All work should be neat and legible with correct spelling and grammar.
Parents should encourage children to take responsibility for the completion of all homework.
