Confucius Classroom

The Confucius Classroom program is an extension of the Hanban Chinese Language Council International's Confucius Institute program. Confucius Institutes are located at universities worldwide, including San Francisco State University and Stanford University.

Named after Confucius, the ancient Chinese educator, the Confucius Classroom provides a dedicated location at the Silver Campus for students to learn the Chinese language and culture.

receives funding and resources from Hanban for the establishment of the classroom as well as a dedicated Mandarin instructor from China.



The Confucius Classroom was dedicated on September 27, 2011 in a ceremony attended by numerous dignitaries.
