In today’s increasingly global economy, the importance of learning about other cultures and cultivating international friendships is essential. At Cornerstone, we are committed to removing boundaries between cultures through our curriculum. Given our location in San Francisco and our cultural demographics, we emphasize immersive teaching of the Chinese language (Cantonese and Mandarin) and culture.
We have recently been honored to have been chosen as the site of the first
Confucius Classroom in Northern California. With a dedicated exchange teacher from China and resources and funding from the
Hanban organization, Cornerstone can continue to realize our commitment to global education.
As opportunities arise, we will be expanding our program to include other countries and cultures.
