In today’s increasingly global economy, the importance of learning about other cultures and cultivating international friendships is essential. At Cornerstone, we are committed to removing boundaries between cultures through our curriculum. Given our location in San Francisco and our cultural demographics, we emphasize immersive teaching of the Chinese language (Cantonese and Mandarin) and culture.
Our travel program gives opportunities for students to visit other countries in Europe and Asia to experience firsthand other people and cultures.
We currently have a sister school relationship with the Nanshan School in Shenzhen, China. We work with teachers in their English language immersion program to mentor them and provide curriculum for their middle school.
As opportunities arise, we will be expanding our program to include other countries and cultures.
