- 6th grade English is a forum for students to explore and understand the past present and future through literature, vocabulary development, and writing. Through their readings of both fiction and non-fictions texts, students will broaden, relate to and share each other's perspectives. Their voices will not only be heard through discussion, but through their writing as well. Through encouragement, support, guidance, hard work, and fun, English is designed to help our students become more thoughtful and critical readers and more deliberate and skilled writers. Finally, we will look at literature and writing from a Christian perspective and discover what lessons God is teaching us daily.
